Andes built this a few days after the
video was made.
He finished it with his lettering header, and took it to
Payson.
1. Suggesting EA (Rudy perhaps) get a matt cutter and
learn to matt prints. 2. Also, any one, and every one can visit used stores
and even art stores for specials or used picture frames.
That is what Andres has been doing for years..
3 For the mat finished C-Type prints,
those are geared for behind glass. Suggesting they all be
"one step" matted. This is simply matt taping the prints to
a matt back, rather than behind a cut mat. This was done
with the Palomino print that was taken from the ALAC
inventory to Paradise Picture Frame / T-Bird. Then Caroline
shrink wrapped it. The full art is displayed, and in the
most economical way for "bin" inventory. See below for shrink wrapping info.

Sean volunteered to do an HOF
E-Blast August 7th. With full
enthusiasm.
He coached the image that ended up
as displayed above. The link in the
text
above is the current link from their
E-Blast which also has the same
image in it.
_______________________________________________________________
This is the link that Sean used to
coach the final design he liked. He
also shared
when we visited live that he would
write a copy based on his
experiencing the art
when he and his dad visited
Scottsdale HOF on that opening day.

Paul, Jay and Andres
8-2-11 Commentaries.
Jay shared that most
of the HOF customers are there for framing. And that most of
the framing is personal stuff (his words). Not much Fine Art
comes in for framing. Jay also mentioned that the idea is to
keep going.
Paul shared that the mat C-Types are for behind glass.
Glossy is not apropos for display behind glass.
He also shared that the water color type prints are best
with a
Hand-Torn
Deckled Edges
for Giclče Prints on Paper,
slightly extended from any back matting, and glass framed.
He also has shared that the feature should be the artist,
and not the way the art is reproduced as was done the first
time around.
His final comment was, the ideal for such is to open a
gallery.
Andres,
He ashared that the ideal, as does Diane Maderas, is to
have all the matted items in a similar size. Granted, the
aspect ration does vary considerably among the seven art
reproductions that he was given to mat the day (morning) of
May 20th. Those were the match prints of what had been IC
captured up to that time. All glossy.
Sean was already gone on his 2 week visit to Europe.

.
The goal now seems to be inventory. With
framing and matting. The inventory of un-matted prints at
ALAC can be "one tier" matted. And then either sleeved, or
shrink wrapped, like the Palomino at PPF T-Bird.
Google for shrink wrapping
. For any new
C-Type print orders, they are noset up to have a 1/4" white
border, vs. cut to the image. This will allow the full art
to be seen when matted. The smaller the print, the more is lost in
matting of the art.
. Andres pays $30 a month for his spot in
Payson, and they take 13.5% of any art on consignment sold. He could facilitate an
EA presence there, once inventory is available. For a
display, his display style is not the ideal for EA. There
are myriads of solutions fo an EA POP display system. With
such geared to respective outlets.
. Once a gift shop style placement is made,
such as the Payson one, an "event" can be promoted. Simply,
like
Diane Maderas does. A reception with a token veggie
presence. Subsequent promotions can be to feature any new EA
releases. Diane is currently featuring her new "Blue
Moon" painting reproductions.
The above was designed to use in an EA
E-Mail newsletter. For announcements of receptions for new
releases, and etc. Though Killian did set up the free
Chimpmail system, No doubt, the iContact account that EA already
has, is the one to use.
